Statutory Inspection of Aided Schools, concerned with its Christian ethos, rated it as outstanding. The School combines this ethos with a concern for inclusivity. It is a multicultural school with a Christian ethos.
The school is hosting an experiment with developing a Christian fellowship headed by Birmingham City Mission working with the C of E, and is progressing towards having a dedicated community room. As well as regular Christian assemblies in school there is a termly service in church and school families share in Sunday worship on special occasions.
